Mr. Feiler is an award-winning journalist, and the writer-presenter of the PBS miniseries Walking the Bible. He has traveled to over 60 countries, five continents, immersing himself in different cultures. The result is numerous acclaimed books that take readers along his fascinating adventures and bring other worlds vividly to life.

A graduate of Yale, Bruce Feiler holds a master’s degree in international relations from Cambridge. Feiler has written for the New York Times and Washington Post. He is also a regular contributor to NPR’s All Things Considered and CNN.

Speakers for this lecture are chosen for their wisdom, compassion, and for the unique perspective that they offer. These criteria have been established because they were the singular qualities that defined Burton Shair’s life.

Temple Beth Emunah has an active Sisterhood and Brotherhood, dynamic Youth Groups (Kadima and USY), interactive Tot Shabbat programs, and frequent Social Action, Adult Education, and volunteer opportunities. We warmly welcome interfaith families into our congregation. The synagogue holds Shabbat, weekday, and holiday services throughout the year. High Holiday tickets are included with membership. Young families are eligible for special membership rates. We also have High Holiday Tickets available for $125 per person.

Temple Beth Emunah is located near the Easton line, at 479 Torrey Street, Brockton, at the corner of Torrey and Pearl Streets. We are a conservative, egalitarian synagogue whose members come from many communities in the Metro South area.
